Project Description
This project focused on the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems for SaskPower’s Aspen Power Station. The scope included mechanical, structural, electrical, and controls work, executed by a skilled team of trades and sub-trades.
Key installations included:
– Separated combustion unit heaters
– Air handling units with integrated platforms and ladders
– Air destratifying units, roof exhaust fans, and gravity roof ventilators
– GTG enclosure exhaust ductwork (design, furnish, install)
– HVAC units and gutters for main PCM, HRSG PCM, and ACC PCM
The project also involved the installation of access ladders and platforms, as well as electrical and control systems to support HVAC operations.
Market Scope
Serving the power generation market, this project enhanced the operational efficiency and environmental control systems of the Aspen Power Station. The HVAC installations support optimal performance of critical infrastructure, contributing to SaskPower’s commitment to reliable and sustainable energy production.
