Project Description

This project involved the supply, installation, and commissioning of structural, mechanical, electrical, and finishing components for a water treatment plant at SaskPower’s Aspen site. The work was executed by a diverse team of skilled trades and supported by specialized sub-trades.

Scope of Work Included:

– Structural: Supply, furnish, and install structural components
– Mechanical: Furnish and install equipment and piping systems
– Electrical: Install electrical systems and instrumentation
– Finishing: Paint application for equipment and structural elements

Material Supply and Installation:

– Materials supplied: Pipe supports, process tubing and supports, equipment shims, Hilti anchors, chemical spray curtains
– Equipment installed: Equipment skids, dosing skids, tanks, totes, sumps, air receiver, tank heater, PLC panels, HMI
– Piping and supports: Hydrotesting, insulation, labeling
– Instrumentation: Transmitters, flow, level, pressure, and analyzer instruments; instrument racks and tubing

Trades and Sub-Trades Involved:

– Trades/techs: Iron workers, boilermakers, millwrights, pipefitters, electricians, instrumentation technicians
– Sub-trades: Grouting, scaffolding, painting, insulation, NDE (non-destructive examination), crane services

Market Scope
