Project Description
This project involved the comprehensive construction and installation of an air-cooled condenser (ACC) system at SaskPower’s Aspen Power Station. The scope encompassed a wide range of structural, mechanical, and piping activities, executed with precision to meet the high standards of the power generation industry.
The work included receiving, staging, preassembly, and erection of the ACC system. Key components such as structural steel, module support steel, stair towers, ladders, platforms, and specialized modules (NHE, fan, and plenum) were assembled and installed. Additional tasks included turbine exhaust duct installation, air sealing, perimeter sheeting, and the integration of hoists and monorails.
Market Scope
The project served the power generation market, contributing to the infrastructure required for reliable and efficient energy production. The installation of the ACC system supports SaskPower’s commitment to sustainable and modernized power solutions, enhancing cooling efficiency and reducing water usage in thermal power generation.
